v0.12.1

May 12, 2026

  • Citations now save reliably across all claim types.
  • Inserting a new claim immediately after or before another claim now lands in the correct position.
  • A handful of polish issues in the argument view are fixed: longer argument titles wrap cleanly, the title editor closes after saving, and the per-premise graph view is fully read-only with labels rendering above edges.
  • Cleaned up the argument view's menus and visuals: claim cards are easier to distinguish from the page, the indentation tree is calmer, and several stale menu options ("Edit description", "Make supporting", "Rebind to different claim") have been retired.
  • "Make conclusion" is now "Assign as conclusion" and automatically demotes the previous conclusion in one click — you no longer have to manually demote first.
  • Long-bodied claims now show their full text by default; the "show more" link is gone.
  • Editor now caps argument, premise, and claim titles at 100 characters and claim bodies at 500 characters. Existing longer entries are unaffected at rest but can't be re-saved without shortening.
  • Argument repair now lives as an inline banner above the argument body — when there's something to fix, you'll see it right where you read the argument, with a one-click repair button and an expandable Details list. The old Repair menu option and the graph-view sidebar Argument Health panel have been retired.
  • Clicking a gear menu on a premise or claim — or clicking a citation chip — now opens a Selection panel in the sidebar showing details about the selected item. The old citation pop-up modal has been retired in favor of this inline panel.
